Category " 1: Autistic sensitivities and particularities "

This category, although rather theoretical and abstract, is intended to accommodate questions from parents and autistic people that might correspond to these topics (the sensitivity and particularities stemming from the essentially harmonious and coherent nature of autism, in our view), and preferably by citing real-life concrete examples, in order to avoid dissipating into quarrels about theories.

According to us (Autistan.org), the “autistic nature” is mainly undistorted harmony and coherence, and thus a great sensitivity to all kinds of attacks against these principles, as well as a resistance that protects this “autistic nature” against “denaturation” and “artificialization” (often destructive or dangerous) resulting from the current ordinary social functioning and the problems it creates (see category 2).

Once one understands this “main key to autism”, then it becomes possible to analyse any situation, any problem related to autism with this “lighting” which generally makes it possible to understand the mechanisms of the problems and of what the autistic person is experiencing, which is necessary in order to provide solutions.

Unfortunately, given that the “non-autistic” society generally takes a negative view of autism instead of having the courage to recognize its own defects, problems and vices (which are, as a whole, extremely serious), then people cannot access this “key”, or, if they do access it (here, therefore), they despise it or do not want to believe it, which prevents them from going towards solutions for a better life for the autistic people.

Note : The use of the word “disorder” is a glaring example of the total misunderstanding of autism by “the non-autistic system”, since autism is – above all – harmony (according to us), and since that order is part of harmony.
This error is all the more obvious since it is easy to see how much autistic people are attached to order, unlike most of non-autistic systems and persons (very lax and not bothered by disorder, inconsistency, lies, etc.).
But to admit what we are explaining, one has to openly recognize the fundamental inconsistencies and flaws in non-autistic social systems and conventions (especially “western”).

Most people have a notion of all this, but they cannot formalize it openly, because it would make completely collapse their entire value system, slowly constructed by “social formatting” and perceived as “the only way”, generally virtuous, which real facts are yet contradicting every day, and which ultimately forces this “normal global humanity” to live in a kind of dangerous illusion, almost a generalized psychosis.

Who is right ? Autistic people who are not adapted to a sick system (and who should not adapt to its flaws), or non-autistic people who adapt to it and who – by doing so – strengthen it? Think seriously and honestly …

If you want to understand better, you can read the section “Explanations” in Autistan.org (new window).
